Instructions for use

1. Add 1 dose of MécaTech NCR Cooling Cleaner to the old coolant or to water. One dose is sufficient for a cooling system with a capacity of up to 10 litres. Run the engine for 20 minutes at varying speeds, or take a test drive. If the heater radiator is controlled by a heater valve, it must be fully open during treatment.
2. MécaTech NCR Cooling Cleaner can remain in the cooling system for several days. The treatment time/test drive of 20 minutes may therefore be (well) exceeded.
3. MécaTech NCR Cooling Cleaner can dissolve sealants in a cooling system. Be aware of the possibility of leaks occurring after cleaning the cooling system.
4. Drain the old coolant, and flush the cooling system in reverse with sufficient clean water. Drain at the lowest possible point. There may be several such points.
5. Close all drain points, and fill the system with new, prescribed type of coolant.

TIPS!

• When flushing and filling, pay attention to the temperature of the system and the coolant. Never pour cold liquid into a hot system.
• Practical application: Clean the system before replacing the water pump.
• After cleaning an older cooling system, add MécaTech AFR Leak Stop (article no. MT030).
