Cleaner for automatic and manual gearboxes.

Instructions for use:

1. In the case of an automatic gearbox, we recommend using the MécaATC machine (item no. MT427). This guarantees a complete fluid change.
2. Start the engine and allow the transmission fluid to reach normal operating temperature.
3. Allow the driven wheels to rotate freely.
4. Add MécaTech Auto Gear Cleaner and shift through all gears for approximately 15 minutes, engaging each gear for several seconds. Repeat this at least 10 times.
5. If no oil change machine is available, a test drive of at least 15 minutes can be performed instead (longer is permitted). During the test drive, use all gears at least 10 times.
6. Change the transmission fluid.
7. Add MécaTech Oil Protector (item no. MT027) to the new oil.
8. Take the vehicle for a test drive and check the transmission fluid level once the transmission has reached operating temperature.
