Diesel Intake Cleaner is an aerosol specially developed for diesel engines to effectively clean the air intake of diesel engines. Even heavily adhering and stubborn deposits are removed without leaving any residue. The entire intake system, swirl flaps, intake valves, piston rings, and the entire combustion chamber are not only cleaned, but also lubricated and protected. A clean air intake section has a positive influence on the functioning of the EGR, DPF, and SCR particulate filter.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Diesel Intake Cleaner can be used to clean all disassembled parts.

Specific method for cleaning the air intake section with the engine running, see step-by-step guide no. CBD-200-005.

1. Check with an endoscope whether there is significant soot build-up in the intake manifold.
2. If contamination is found, check the operation of the EGR valve. In case of severe contamination, disassemble and clean the EGR valve.
3. Warm up the engine.
   
4. Remove the air intake hose after the air filter.
   
5. Rev the engine to 2500-3000 rpm.
   
6. Spray Cobra diesel intake cleaner into the hose in bursts of approximately 1 second. Ensure that you take about 30 minutes to empty the entire can. Allow the engine to recover from the increase in revolutions that occurs after spraying.
7. Do not spray too much at once, as this can cause the engine to over-rev (run away).
8. Reconnect the air intake hose and then flush the engine with Mécatech NCH. Change oil and oil filter.
9. Check if the problem has been resolved.
